With the College World Series in full swing, today begins a stretch of conversations around college baseball. West Virginia Head Coach, Randy Mazey, has been a leading voice to push the playing season back into the summer based on a number of reasons, including what he calls "untapped revenue potential for the sport." Mazey also touches on what would happen with the CWS, MLB Draft, recruiting dynamics, summer school, costs to departments with the change & a number of other items for the sport within his proposal. One specifically interesting comment was Mazey's unofficial poll that eight of nine Big 12 HCs would support the move. Lots here. Listen by clicking the link. - link (length - 24:11)
